Important Update: Transparent Quoting, New Discounts, and Pricing Changes Effective 1st July 2026

Dear Valued Customers,

We know that price increases are never welcome news. As a local business, we do everything we can to keep our costs as low as possible. We typically only review our pricing once a year, and it is our strict policy to always provide at least one month's notice before any changes take effect.

However, due to the continuously rising costs of fuel and to ensure we are operating fairly for both our hard-working engineers and you, our customers, we are implementing a new service and pricing structure. Please note that these changes will apply to all appointments booked on or after 1st July 2026.

Transparent Quoting: A Fair Choice for Every Customer

We want you to feel completely confident in the service you choose. Moving forward, whenever you inquire about a repair, we will email you a fully detailed, side-by-side quote outlining two distinct choices:

  • Option A: Workshop Repair (Lower cost, no travel charges)
  • Option B: On-Site Home Visit (Maximum convenience, engineer comes to you)

This side-by-side comparison allows you to see the exact cost difference—factoring in travel and labor—so you can make an informed choice that best fits your needs and budget.

Streamlined Service Area & Updated Pricing

To simplify our travel logistics, we are retiring our 3-Zone system (Zones A, B, and C) in favor of a straightforward, flat-rate pricing structure.

Updated Pricing Structure

Starting 1st July 2026, our pricing structure will be as follows:

Home Visits (Within 5 Miles)£79.99 (Covers the callout and the first 5 miles)
Additional Mileage£1.50 per mile (Charged both ways for distances beyond 5 miles)

⚠️ Important Note on Mileage: The mileage rate covers our vehicle and travel expenses. It is always charged for home visits, even in the event of a "no fix" or if no labor costs are applied.

Introducing New Customer Discounts

We are thrilled to introduce new discount options to give back to our community and our returning customers. Please note that these discounts apply to labor costs only (they do not cover parts or mileage):

  • Blue Light Card: 20% Off (on proof of blue light card)
  • Military: 20% Off (on proof of military id)
  • Loyalty Card: 50% Off (on completion of 6 repair visits stamped by our engineers)

New Onsite Support Schedule

By dedicating more time to our workshop, we can process repairs much faster and get your devices back to you sooner. To balance this, onsite support will now be strictly limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

If you require immediate assistance outside of these hours, our Workshop and Remote Support options remain fully available.
