We recently moved from our old hosting server that contained a Windows IIS server, this had some limitations which included:
- Secondary FTP Client needed to be installed
- Limited PHP Support
- No Website Control Panel to manage services
As of today we have moved to an Ubuntu server, that contains a open source website administration panel: Froxlor.
Today during the normal working hours where highly expensive and utilized hosting panels such as WHM/cPanel would take up to 4 days to fix an issue if required. the Froxlor development team were able to sit on the side and help us through some little tough issues, all without asking for a single penny for support. A Big massive thank you to d00p for assisting me today!
This has enable us to offer our clients an easy to use control panel to manage and maintain their own websites, which can be found at: https://panel.ebithost.co.uk/, which now includes FTP access by default, and a few other unique features.
